ELEVATE: The Warrior's Melody

#crownstatement 'Don’t Panic. Be Brave. Let the music ease your mind.'

In the build of the coronavirus outbreak, and the plethora of shutdowns in spaces and events, I have no direct idea as to when my next event will be. I can tell you that while we are in shutdown mode, I will be working on more items, including new t-shirts that I will post here and everything will be available online.

While still out and about, I am seeing how developing information has resulted in a spike of emotions pertaining to survival. Yes, It is important to put your physical health first in lieu of this development. Currently, I am keeping aware of the recommendations of the CDC of social distancing and preventative measures for my own safety; washing my hands more frequently, coughing and sneezing into my inner elbow or tissue, keeping a clean and disinfected space and work environment. I am also doing things to keep my immune system strong and my space clean.

I have been an adamant speaker in my personal life of eating garlic as it is the most powerful natural antibiotic. This, along with aloe [to flush out your system], vitamin C and ginger [an immune booster and to settle your stomach], oregano oil and clove oil have been increased in my daily consumption. I am also burning sage throughout my space as I clean as sage kills 98% of airborne bacteria. Since I am taking care of my physical health with these preventative measures, I know the most important thing I can do is to stay calm. Music has always been a huge factor in my mental and emotional care.

If I let fear overpower me, my ability to create will be hindered, which over time, will hinder my survival. I have been trying to stay calm and focused amidst the hysteria. I’ve been going through playlist after playlist in my music library but I keep going back to Crown Inspired, Vol. 1. It is what kept my going last year when I was scared and uncertain about my next move, it helped keep my focus on my goals and kept me calm when I needed to make changes in my plans.

There is so much that we all want to do this year. This pandemic has simply made it so that we must be still for a little while. It is a great time to focus on ourselves. The only thing you can do to protect yourself from sickness is to build up your immune system and keep your space clean.
